Students have a ball ahead of busy exam period

Students at Sacred Heart Catholic College in Crosby have celebrated the end of exams early by going to a traditional Leavers’ Ball.

Year 13 students, who have a busy few months ahead as they undertake A level examinations, enjoyed a special evening at Formby Hall and took part in a Leavers’ Mass and buffet.

The celebrations have been a great way to give the students a pre-exam boost and teachers have been quick to praise the students on their contribution during their time at college.

Director of upper school, Ms Baker says: “This has been a wonderful year group who have contributed so much to college life. We wish all our Year 13 students every success in their forthcoming examinations.”

Deputy Headteacher, Mr Pye, added: “So many of our students go to university and leave contributing their talents to the professions they choose.
“This year is no exception and we look forward to welcoming them back in September for our Presentation Evening.”
