Liverpool International Jazz Festival offers free creative sessions and concert tickets

Music lovers and aspiring jazz musicians are in for a treat as the Liverpool International Jazz Festival (LIJF) announces an exciting programme of free creative sessions and concert ticket giveaways for 2025. Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Arts Council, these initiatives aim to make jazz more accessible to musicians of all ages and backgrounds.

Free creative sessions – hands-on musical experiences

Taking place on Saturday 22nd February 2025, LIJF’s creative sessions provide an interactive opportunity for musicians of all levels to engage with jazz in a dynamic and inclusive setting. Designed to be hands-on and engaging, these sessions offer a chance to learn, collaborate, and develop musical skills under expert guidance.

The sessions are completely free to attend, but registration is required. Interested participants can sign up by emailing Neil Campbell at campben@hope.ac.uk. Further details can be found at this link.

Free concert tickets for young musicians and families

In another exciting initiative, LIJF 2025 is offering free concert tickets for young musicians and their families. Each eligible family (two adults and two children) can claim up to four tickets per concert on a first-come, first-served basis.

To claim tickets, use the code HUB25 when booking. Even if a concert appears sold out, the code may still unlock free seats.
