Pupils celebrate GCSE results as grades rise

Students across the region celebrated their GCSE results as results came in across the North West.

GCSE results nationwide have followed the trend set by A-levels earlier in the week, hitting their highest levels ever.

It comes after the second year that teacher assessments were used to determine students’ grades following the huge disruption wrought on schools and exams by the pandemic and Educate were on hand to capture the reactions of the students as they opened their results.
