Students at Leeds Mathematics School celebrate superb A-level results

Today, Year 13 students at Leeds Mathematics School (LMaS) are celebrating exceptional A-level results, marking the end of two years of study and the beginning of the next chapter in their lives. Many are now preparing to progress to university.
Key outcomes
- A quarter of students have achieved two or more A* grades
- 10 students have achieved four A* grades
- 57 per cent of students have achieved grades AAB or better
- 61 per cent of all grades are A* or A
- 82 per cent of all grades are A*, A or B
With these results, students have been offered places at prestigious Russell Group universities:
- 12 students have places at Durham University
- 10 students will be studying at the University of Leeds
- 9 students have places at the University of York
- 8 students will be going to Oxford or Cambridge
