A seasonal treat for parents and the community
Parents and the community were treated to an evening of entertainment at All Hallows Church for the Calderstones School annual carol service. There were fabulous performances by the school choir and orchestra, numerous ensembles such as the string group, brass ensemble and junior woodwind, as well as the sixth form vocal harmony group who sang a wonderful version of ‘Oh Holy Night’ and a violin duet by Robyn and Miss Langford. Even the staff choir took part and sang ‘Stille Nacht’ in 4-part harmony. Many soloists impressed during the evening. The evening was led by Reverand Alan Kennnedy who, in his speech at the end of the evening, expressed how impressed he always is at the amount of talent at Calderstones School.
