Employability workshops at Ernst Young

Year 11 students from Alsop High School were recently invited to attend an employability workshop at the Ernst Young offices in Liverpool city centre where they met with members of the Government Central Functioning (GCF).

History teacher, Ms Williams said: “This was a most productive day for our students. Students were able to engage with civil servants and they had meaningful conversations about career opportunities. They also gained practice at interview technique.”

Students were also delighted when they were lucky enough to bump in to Ian Rush (former Liverpool FC player) in the lift. Mr Rush was keen to hear about life at Alsop and he even allowed the students a photo opportunity.
