GCSE results day recognises students’ hard work

Students across the region returned to school last week to collect their GCSE results.

Results this year followed the national trend set by A-levels, hitting their highest levels ever with students having adapted positively to the new way in which they were accessed this year.

As in 2020 teachers again assessed students to determine grades, following the huge disruption to schools and students brought on by the pandemic.

Educate sent its team of photographers out to schools to capture the reactions and celebrations as they opened their results.
