The university technical college offers various opportunities to take part in prestigious, national competitions. Recent achievements include Ryan who won the Senior Science category at the 2023 Big Bang Competition for his project about viruses and Connie Gray who, in Year 9, was named UK Young Scientist of the Year in 2022 for her research on bird adaptations in different climates.
This year, students are showcasing their talent, creativity and technical expertise in high-profile events including the Unilever Bright Futures Awards and the Concept Cars competition.
