Outstanding results for Maricourt Catholic High School

Year 13 students at Maricourt Catholic High School in Maghull are celebrating fantastic examination results with the majority achieving their first choice university places.

The high school reported that 48% of students achieved A*, A or B grades in Academic A-level subjects and 98% achieved Distinction* or Distinction in Vocational Level 3 courses. There was a 100% pass rate.

Headteacher Mr Brendan McLoughlin, said: “These outstanding results have been achieved through the hard work and commitment of our students and the support of parents, carers and teachers. We wish students every success in the future”.
