Secondary schools make a splash at Swimming Championships
Liverpool secondary schools made a splash this morning (Friday 31 March) at the Liverpool City Schools Swimming Championships.

- Calderstones School won the girls competition
Held at Wavertree Aquatics Centre, the event saw pupils from years 7, 8 and 9 go head to head in the pool. Swimmers battled it out against each other in individual races before relays gave the gala an exciting finale.
Competing secondary schools included Calderstones School, King David High School, St Hilda’s CE High School, St Margaret’s CE Academy and St Edward’s College.
And the winners are…
Calderstones School took first place in the girls competition while St Edward’s College took first prize in the boys competition!
