Tes Schools Awards 2025 now open!

Tes Schools Awards announce new ‘Inclusive Trust of the Year’ category launched for 2025 awards.

The Tes Schools Awards are returning for 2025, and nominations are now open. The awards are an opportunity for educators across the UK to celebrate their outstanding achievements for the 2023/24 academic year.

Nominations will close on Friday, 7 March, and the shortlist will be announced on Friday, 25 April. The winners will then be announced on the awards night on Friday, 20 June at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Editor of Tes Magazine, Jon Severs, said: “The Tes Schools Awards are about celebrating the incredible achievements and hard work teachers do to drive change in education across the UK. For close to 20 years now we’ve been running these awards, judged by education leaders and experts across the UK, to give teachers and schools the recognition they deserve.”

The Tes Schools Awards, now in its seventeenth year, celebrates the extraordinary commitment, quality and innovation shown by teachers and support staff across the UK.

Tes invites nominations from teachers and teams within schools throughout the UK that are raising the standards of education and making a positive impact on the personal and academic success of students and the wider community.

For 2025, Tes has also announced a new awards category: ‘Inclusive Trust of the Year’. The category aims to recognise trusts that have provided outstanding academic and pastoral support for students with SEND, over the past 12 months.

Entering the Tes Schools Awards is free and open to teachers and schools across the UK. Entries can also be submitted on behalf of a school or teacher if they have done something to go above and beyond.
