Fazakerley High School pupils remember the fallen

Key Stage 3 pupils from Fazakerley High School have made poppies out of recycled plastic bottles and put them on display in the main school reception area.

The pupils have been learning about the Great War and wanted to commemorate the centennial of the 1918 Armistice.

Staff from the art department said that the history of this conflict and subsequent wars will still resonate within the city of Liverpool and many Merseyside families and the pupils were keen to reflect that in this creative act of remembrance.
