The Times Higher Education Awards open for entries

Higher education institutions can now submit entries to enter the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards.

The awards, now in their 20th year, have twenty categories to choose from, covering a wide range of university activity.

Entries will be judged by a prestigious panel of higher education experts.

The awards are free to enter, and entries will close at 11.55pm on Monday 10 June 2024, with the shortlist to be published on Thursday 5 September.

The 20 award categories in the THE Awards 2024 are:

1.                   Business School of the Year

2.                   International Collaboration of the Year

3.                   Knowledge Exchange/Transfer Initiative of the Year

4.                   Most Innovative Teacher of the Year

5.                   Outstanding Contribution to Environmental Leadership

6.                   Outstanding Contribution to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

7.                   Outstanding Contribution to the Local Community

8.                   Outstanding Entrepreneurial University

9.                   Outstanding Estates Team

10.               Outstanding Library Team of the Year

11.               Outstanding Marketing/Communications Team of the Year

12.               Outstanding Research Supervisor of the Year

13.               Outstanding Support for Students

14.               Outstanding Technician of the Year

15.               Research Project of the Year: Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

16.               Research Project of the Year: STEM

17.               Technological or Digital Innovation of the Year

18.               University of the Year

19.               Widening Participation or Outreach Initiative of the Year

20.               THE Outstanding Achievement Award (formal submissions not required this year)

For only the second time since THE Awards launched in 2005, the final ceremony will take place outside of London, with the winners being announced at the ICC Birmingham on 28 November (concluding two days of THE Campus Live UK&IE on the 27 and 28 November).
