Future Makers at Royal Albert Hall

Future Makers is a new annual schools concert at the Royal Albert Hall that will show the joy of music making to pupils. It will take place on 9 November 2022 at 1pm.

Following months of auditions, nine acts aged 14-18 will perform their own original music across the genres of rock, pop, jazz, rap and folk.

The concert will be supported by a specially written resource pack which will give tips and suggested classroom activities.

This pack will guide students to create their own music and lyrics, with the hope they will e-audition for the next generation of Future Makers.

The special event will take place in the Royal Albert Hall’s iconic auditorium, where hundreds of world-known musicians have performed before.

For £3 per person, a group can add on pre-show tour of the hall, to help students learn more about the building and history of the venue.

Student tickets are £5 each to help bring the pupils which have not yet experienced the wonder of live music.

Future Makers promises to be a memorable concert and will also feature a special performance by Jess Gillam and her ensemble, as well as interactive moments for students to join.
