Oyé Festival

Where: Liverpool | When: 18/19 June

After two years of not being able to hold a festival because of the coronavirus pandemic, the African Oyé festival is returning to Sefton Park in Liverpool for what will be their 30th anniversary!

The two days will be filled with live music and culture from Africa, the Caribbean and the diaspora, along with workshops and delicious treats from the food stalls and a range of traders.

This amazing experience is free, and no tickets are required upon entry. To keep the festival free, you can always purchase some official merchandise online or at the festival, or consider donating to their website.

Sefton Park is just a 20-minute walk from St Michael’s station.
