SFX students and staff rejoice over GCSE results

Students and staff at St Francis Xavier’s College (SFX) in Woolton rejoiced today as students collected their GCSE results.

The college had many success stories throughout the day. 

William Carr secured grade 8s in chemistry, geography, maths and physics, while Oliver Buckley achieved grade 9s in English literature and history.

Ruari Birch had high grades across the board including a grade 9 in maths. Ruari will stay on at SFX 6th form where he will study computer science, economics and maths.

Also returning to the sixth form are students John Percival and Meakin Hughes, who both achieved lots of grade 7s and grade 8s in their GCSEs.

John will study music, history and criminology while Meakin will study physics, computer science and maths. 

Luca Greenall-Ross, Isiah Emegbuonye and Daniel Malone all achieved great results across all of their subjects. Luca achieved grade 8s in English literature, geography and RE. All three will join the sixth form in September.

Overall, there were a number of great results to celebrate throughout the day, and staff were immensely proud of all the students.
