The Liverpool Everyman Theatre is bringing out a brand new anniversary production for March 2023.
‘Top Girls’ by Caryl Churchill was premiered in London in 1982, making it 40 years old.
Reimagined for Liverpool by Caryl Churchill herself, this funny classic will be reborn.
Directed by Everyman creative director Suba Das, the musical takes the audience back to the 80s – the divisive decade that transformed Britain.
Top Girls puts women and their stories centre stage, and asks questions of a culture that drives some to the top but that leaves many more wondering what happened to their dreams.
The play is on at the Liverpool Everyman for four weeks: Friday 3 March to Saturday 25 March.
