Rainford High students secure place on prestigious law programme

Five Year 10 Rainford High students are celebrating after being granted a place on Liverpool John Moore’s University’s (LJMU) Law Factor Programme 2021.

Following successful submission and school support of their applications, students Amy Moss, Laura Kenny, Faith Hampson-Gleave, Georgia Keogh and Rachael Arnold have secured a place on the prestigious programme.

The programme is hosted by global law firm, DWF, in conjunction with LJMU. It allows students to gain an insight into law from professional lawyers and help to develop their confidence to believe such careers are accessible to them.

Mr Gary Makin, Director of Personal Development and Careers Education Information & Guidance, said: “We are delighted for the students who have gained a place on this prestigious programme. Whether they finish the course as a future legal eagle or thinking it may not be their preferred career path, it should prove a fun and engaging experience.

“This is a great opportunity for students to link with both LJMU and a well-renowned global employer in order to acquire the necessary insight and guidance to help inform their future career plans.
