Bosco girls celebrate at glittering prom

Year 11 pupils from St John Bosco School in Croxteth celebrated the end of their GCSE exams this evening at a glittering prom held at the Isla Gladstone Conservatory in Stanley Park.

More than 80 girls joined staff at the stunning location to let their hair down and dance the night away as they marked the end of statutory education with the glamorous get-together.

Headteacher Darren Gidman, celebrating his first year in charge of the school, made a speech in which he encouraged the girls to always remember their time at St John Bosco, as well as congratulating them on their hard work and commitment to their studies.

Organiser Tracy Mathias was handed a bouquet of flowers by the girls for not only ensuring the evening was a huge success, but also for the enormous support she has has given the girls during their time at the school.
